New Photography Stamps

Canada Post has released two new Permanent domestic stamps with photographs taken by Canadians to mark the 150th anniversary of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. Matt Quinn’s image of the Milky Way was made in Bruce Peninsula National Park in Ontario, and Alan Dyer’s northern lights photo was shot in Churchill, Manitoba.

Canadian Photography Institute Research Fellows

The National Gallery of Canada's Canadian Photography Institute has announced the recipients of the 2018 Research Fellowship Program. The program was established last year, and recipients receive $10,000 each to support their projects as well as a full-time residency at the National Gallery.
