Throughout the month of May, Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival in Toronto is presenting a huge selection of exhibitions and photo events. This year CONTACT is celebrating 20 years of supporting established and emerging photo-based artists, documentary photographers and photojournalists from Canada and beyond.

On May 3, the winner of the Scotiabank Photography Award will be announced. The work of the three finalists, Pascal Grandmaison, Suzy Lake and Jayce Salloum, is now featured in Beyond the Frame, a public outdoor art installation in Toronto (at Queen Street West and McCaul Street). The images of these artists are projected on a wall, and viewers are invited to text a phone number to have more information and a video about the artists’ inspiration.
