On November 21, Stephen Bulger Gallery in Toronto is hosting a film screening, talk and book signing for Harvey Wang’s From Darkroom to Daylight. The event starts at 3 p.m. with the film screening (63 minutes), then the booking signing and talk with Harvey Wang will follow. The documentary film and companion book feature interviews with photographers about the transition from film to digital and how it has impacted them. Some of the interviewees include Sally Mann, Jeff Jacobson, Susan Meiselas, Eugene Richards, Steven Sasson (who built the first consumer digital camera while working for Kodak) and Thomas Knoll (who created Photoshop with his brother). Check out the current October/November issue of Photo Life for our review of the book!
