Through November 29, the Musée de Lachine is presenting Lake-Like, an exhibition that showcases the work of seven guest artists along with selected works from the museum’s collection. Ranging from traditional landscapes to contemporary work, the the multimedia art in Lake-Like explores a lake theme their the diverse viewpoints of about thirty artists from different generations, including Sarah Bertrand-Hamel, Chih-Chien Wang, Michael Merrill, Sébastien Worsnip, Raymonde April, Geneviève Chevalier, Edmund Alleyn, Jean Paul Riopelle, Fernand Leduc, Linda Covit and Jessica Auer. Bordered by a river, even the museum’s surroundings create a beautiful environment for contemplation and appreciating the beauty of nature…only 10 kilometres from downtown Montreal.
