Sarah Anderson took a two week journey to retrace a trip along the Pacific Coast Highway that her parents took her on when she was a toddler. Too young at the time to remember, Anderson decided to retrace the same route to attempt to reconnect with that part of her history, identity and memory. Return to the Pacific Coast Highway features more than 50 photographs and two short video installations taken on Anderson’s journey to find what was lost. The exhibition is on view through March 20 at School of the Photographic Arts: Ottawa. There will be an Artist Talk on March 14 at 3 p.m.
