From May 1 to 31, Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival will present exhibitions, installations and events at more than 175 venues all over the Greater Toronto Area. This year’s theme is Field of Vision and explores two denotations of the word “vision”—“sight” and “imagination.” CONTACT 2013 is featuring work by Sebastião Salgado, Martin Parr, Arnaud Maggs, Erik Kessels, Adam Broomberg, Oliver Chanarin, Lynne Cohen and many more photographers.

Like last year, we are happy to announce that we will again have Sam as a regular guest contributor during the month-long festival. She will be highlighting specific images from CONTACT on the blog throughout the month. These posts are an excellent opportunity for all our readers to get a glimpse of what’s going on at CONTACT, no matter where you live!
