This year’s News Photographers Association of Canada (NPAC) photojournalism conference will be held April 26 to 28 in Calgary at the Delta Bow Valley. The weekend is a great opportunity to learn and network with Canada’s photojournalists. Events include presentations by top speakers, a trade show, portfolio reviews, camera clinics and NPAC’s 2013 National Pictures of the Year (NPOTY) Awards Gala. At the gala, the winners from all the NPOTY categories will be announced, including the Canadian Photojournalist of the Year, sponsored by The Canadian Press, and the Canadian Photograph of the Year, sponsored by Reuters. The award nominees are listed here. For more information on the event, please visit their website.
