Adobe has introduced Lightroom 4. The product went through a public beta phase starting in January, which gave everyone an opportunity to sample the changes in the next revision of Lightroom. Now the commercial release is here.
The basic tone controls have been extensively reworked, and LR4 also has two new workflow panels: Book is a photo book layout module, and Map allows you to map photos that have GPS location data onto a Google map. LR4 has better video file handling compared to the previous version.
It is available for Mac or Windows for around $150 for the full package or $80 for an upgrade from a previous version.
