IMAGE INTERNATIONAL PHOTO CONTESTLeading Canadian photography magazines, Photo Life and Photo Solution, proudly present the 13th edition of the annual Image International photo contest. Launched every year in April, Canada’s largest photography contest invites all levels of photographers from amateur to professional, worldwide, to participate. SHOWTIME PHOTO CONTEST
We invite our readers to participate in the Showtime photo contest (see list of themes and deadlines
below), sponsored by Epson Canada Ltd. This issue’s first place winner will be awarded an Epson Stylus Photo 1400 ink-jet printer (retail value: $369.99).
To participate by regular mail: Send your entries (5 images maximum) to Pho to Life “Showtime”, 185 St. Paul Street, Quebec City, QC, Canada G1K 3W2 with image title, your complete name, mailing address, and telephone number affixed to the back, accompanied by a self-addressed stamped envelope with sufficient postage to cover all return fees (American stamps are not accepted) if you want your image(s) returned. Requirement: Slides, colour or black-and-white prints (minimum 5 x 7, maximum 11 x 14 inches), or digital files on CD (RGB, 300 dpi, maximum final print size 8 x 10”).
To participate by e-mail: Send your entries (5 images maximum) to showtime@photolife.com. Requirements: Only submit one image per e-mail (if five images are submitted, then five separate e-mails must be sent); indicate only the theme in the “Subject” line—nothing else; in the message, clearly indicate your name, address, telephone number, and the title of the image; please use your full name as the name of the file (if submitting more than one image, simply add 1, 2, etc. to your name); maximum of five images per theme; JPEG format only; image width from 1800 to 4000 pixels; files must not exceed 3 MB.
This contest is open to Canadian residents only.
