Nikon Canada has updated its unique ‘camera-with-built-in-projector’ with a new model, the CoolPix S1100pj. Nikon says with output rated at 14 lumens, the projector in the new model is 40 percent brighter than its predecessor.
The camera has a built-in stand and a high-resolution (460k dots) touch-screen interface. It also includes a slide show application that allows you to project images, along with musical accompaniment. You can also project 720p HD movies captured by the camera. The S1100pj will double as a regular projector. When connected to a computer via USB the projector will display what is on the computer screen.
The CoolPix S1100pj will be available mid-September. MSRP is $349.95
