A long-time Photo Life contributor, Peter K. Burian is a freelance stock photographer whose work is marketed by Corbis, Alamy.com, and The Stock Connection. He is the author of “Mastering Digital Photography and Imaging” and of several Magic Lantern Guides to Sony and Pentax D SLRs. He is also a digital photography course instructor with BetterPhoto.com.
David Tanaka
As a technology writer and editor, David Tanaka has tracked digital photography’s evolution from crude curiosity into the mainstream. His work as a photographer includes magazine assignments, fine-art printmaking, and supplying stock to textbook publishers. David has been a Photo Life contributor since 2004 and is Editor-in-Chief of the annual Photo Life Buyers’ Guide.
Evelyn Drake
Evelyn is a freelance photographer who has been a photography nut since she was eleven years old. She primarily shoots portraits and lifestyle pictures, and also enjoys dabbling in fine-art and landscape photography. Although most of her work is digital, she still loves experimenting with film, especially true black and white. She currently resides in Calgary, Alberta and works for The Camera Store.
